A Message from Lou...

Hello from Okinawa!

I am pleased to tell you that we will only be playing the 3:00 - 5:00 concert on 6/29. We will not be staying to play under the fireworks. We will all escape the park at 5:00. Pam will provide more details on this and the arrangements we are making to insure that this is an enjoyable and memorable performance for all.

This remains an important opportunity for us. Thousands of people will hear our performance and WYSP will be broadcasting on site. There will be a professional sound company amplifying our performance, which will cement our place as the music to experience at the Mercer County Freedom Festival!

As for me, my journey across Japan is entering it's third and final week. In all, over the nineteen days away, I will have traveled on ten planes, four trains, four buses, six vans and eight taxi's, traversing over three thousand in-country miles across a nation that is only eight hundred miles long. I am inspecting the Defense Language Testing Programs at nine U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy and Marine bases. Needless to say, this is a bizarre thing for a musician to do!

I am so looking forward to being with all of you, with baton in hand, basking in the sounds and spirit we have all come to know and love. I want to seriously thank Gary, Mike, Tom, Terry and Pam, for all they have done to keep us keeping on in my absence. I cannot wait to be there with all of you.

Take good care, and remember that we are all what we do and become that in which we believe.

Keep the faith!

Lou
